Anne Phung Nguyen
I am Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my wonderful fianc JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. I am most well-known through my Instagram page @annephung. Here I tell my tale of highs, lows, and everything in between. My parents took me into America in 1990, when I was just a year old. I wouldn't be sharing my story with you today without my parents' efforts to work hard and make sacrifices. With the opportunity to have an improved life, I wanted to do the best I could to please them, and was focused on achieving my goals. I had a plan in my life that was to go to university, get a job, marry, purchase a house and have kids. My goal was to attend college to graduate, then get an executive job. After that, I'd marry, buy a house and have kids. Life had other ideas. It was 2013 when I discovered that I didn't like going to work at my corporate job. Money and status did inspire me. I felt like I wasted my time to earn a paycheck. I possessed a love of fitness and being social and helping others while I walked my new career path. I was drawn to personal training. In this year, I am celebrating my 7th Anniversary. In 2014, I started my own small business. Being a Asian woman in the industry, we are among the few of us. To be a leader in my field, and to provide high-quality coaching and help others live a happier and healthier life through creating a lifestyle tailored to meet their needs and help them achieve their goals. Additionally, I want to encourage individuals to follow their desires and accomplish whatever they would like to do in their life. In the beginning of my job, the passing of my mother was the greatest hit to my personal life. After an eight-year struggle with the disease, she is at peace in Heaven. I am forever grateful to her and continue to remember her in my mind and my heart. It is true that life has the ability to provide us with the exact thing we require even if we're not able to comprehend the lesson in this moment. The passing of my mother changed me in so many ways and I believe my mom gave me a second chance at life through her passing. Her death occurred on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was her time to start her new life, and also give me a second chance at living the most happy, joyful and meaningful life. In my 30's I am alive and conscious I truly feel that I am living now rather than merely living as I was in my past. My goal in telling my story is to let you know that, you are not alone. I hope that you believe that love is real and that therapy is regular. Your health is your greatest asset. I wish you to live your life to its fullest and to die with no regrets because death is the only possibility that awaits the people in our lives.
