I have found that music can be a non-feminine place to be in and so accepting this type of femininity has been an exciting challenge for me. It really was difficult for me to think, "Okay, I can be feminine, soft, and sturdy and care for myself without reducing my own self." I've really enjoyed it somewhat. I've really enjoyed wearing heels and a dress everyday and sporting these lovely curls and soft fabrics. This was extremely stressful as I'm not as old as the actors who are in Fantastic Beasts]; there was a lot of stress. There was this unsettling sensation during my auditions that there was a massive pressure on me. It seemed like I could be crushed under it and crumble because of how much I wanted it and the magnitude of it as well as climb up on to the top of it and let it pull my upwards. A day spent in museums coffeeshops, parks, or just going for walks and looking at the crowds is something that I love. In LA you are often isolated, but in London you can ride the Tube and be in the thick of humanity and every type of person which you can think of is going on. I enjoy watching other people. In the world of music there is a constant presence of men. You feel as if you must be within intimate relationships with them all the time. It's an amazing real-life dream for me. I've read the entire books. It was wonderful having the opportunity to study the novels while traveling. The cities are constantly shifting which makes it difficult to stay focused. However, to be able to escape in such a vibrant immersive, vibrant universe from your bunk is really wonderful.
